” The Hand of Fundy “
Like a hand searching for the right time to create
You can feel its outstretched fingers… slowly, steadily
Reaching out… back and forth like a great tide
The hand of Fundy
Its daily ritual… forever etching its rhythm into your soul
Which appendage will the hand point to… misty, foggy
Anticipate the ebb and flow, what next… sunny, moonlit
Only the hand knows
My body and mind, now are one with this hand that has guided my inner vision.
In a serene place called St. Martins on the Bay of Fundy.
Beautiful, just breath taking.. I absolutely love the black and whites.. so serene.. 🙂

There are days I just want to find calmness and solitude. An escape from the chaos of life. Somehow, images such as these takes me to those places of peace and simplicity. Thanks.

HI Mike-
Love the blue landscape photo of the tree. Would like to use it as inspiration for an oil painting. Do I have your permission? If so, can you email me a file large enough so I can print a 8 X 10 of it for reference. I’m doing a oil workshop next week.

The photos are very good, especially the house through the mesh. and the grass. I learnt about Bay of Fundy today from Internet thanks to this post.

More beutiful work, Mike, and more inspiration. I’m tempted to pick out a number of favorites, but the one that really rivets me is the green grass, #18. How serene!

Your images really gave me a sense of place and your words added to what your eyes saw and what you were feeling. I really liked the detail shots of the reeds gently swaying in the wind and the canvas sails. And your black and white shots were awesome — the lonely deer on top of the mountain was a fortunate add on.

I really love all of them. I believe your nature shots really demonstrate the depths of your soul and emotions and the conflicts that remain. My favorite is the photo of the of the sole tree against the setting sun
